Superman, Exclusive Interview, Part I

Sitting at dinner with Superman.

I order the Thai green curry. The two men Superman has brought along seem to have at least super intellects. They both are physics guys. You know the ones I mean;  they see if we can mess with the space/time continuum and prove that gravity is far more complicated than Newton or most of us thought or will think. One is quiet, but his thoughts lift across the table. It is a little unnerving. The other answers questions with passion and a slight German accent.  Figures.

Superman is full of surprises . Not quite another planet, I am told, but they certainly broke the mold. Tonight, the mild-mannered disguise seems fitting. No special costume or anything. I start the interview off with some soft questions but before long we are talking about Hegel and Man Ray, stereotypes and saving the world. Then we get to the fun stuff.

Favorite superpower: (Here is the money quote): “flying to different countries and learning and seeing things that many people never get to do in a life time!”

But there is something missing.  I think it is simply I have to see proof. “Not here”. “I will send you something later.”

By the time I get home, the proof is waiting. Here is just a little of it:

Stay tuned for Part II of my exclusive interview with Superman tomorrow. I have a few secrets I am going to reveal in public about Superman that have never been told before.
